Damiana essential oil is thought to have a balancing effect on the Sacral chakra which is associated with the emotional body, sensuality, and creativity.

Its rich history dates back to ancient Aztec and Mayan recordings, as well as Mexican folklore, claiming the herb and extracts were used primarily as an aphrodisiac.
