Also known as Moxa Oil this pure essential oil warms meridians, promotes blood circulation, relieves pain, and removes dampness and coldness from the body. Also known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effect use a small amount of Moxa Oil and apply it onto acu-points or affected parts of the body repeatedly. Rub until it is absorbed.

Before moxibustion apply Moxa Oil to the acu-points then use a moxa stick near the area for 30 minutes until fully absorbed. Mugwort is commonly used alongside the Chinese practice of acupuncture.

Artemisia verlotiorum is often confused with Artemisia vulgaris (common mugwort), which is closely related.
