Echinacea is a genus of herbaceous flowering plants in the daisy family. It has ten species, which are commonly called coneflowers, they are native only to the North America’s. Historically, the Native Americans used parts of Coneflowers as a remedy for toothaches and other mouth pain. It was also used in the treatment of burns, headaches, and was applied to snakebites. Today Echinacea products, being sold as an immune booster, are among the best-selling herbal preparations in several developed countries.
