Very tasty and pungent native Lemon Grass with fragrant, bluish green grey leaves and fluffy seed heads. It is self-fertile. Very drought hardy plant, unlike its Asian relative.

This species has a calming and soothing effect on digestion and stress, and can also be used to treat muscle cramps, scabies, various skin sores, headaches, fever and respiratory tract infections.

Common name: Lemon Grass; Oil Grass.
