This subtropical to tropical evergreen tree produces fruit that unmistakably has the scent of peanut butter. The small red-orange fruits resemble that of dried figs or peanut butter and can be eaten fresh, used for jellies, jams, or preserves, and also used as a flavoring in drinks.

Native to Venezuela and Colombia in South America, this evergreen tree grows up to 3-6m in height and is frost sensitive

Common name: Cattley Guava; Guyaba Japonesa; Strawberry Guava; Ciruela Del Monte.
