A shrub native to the south-west of Western Australia. It is currently listed as a vulnerable species. It grows on or near granite outcrops, and occasionally on sand plains, or a range of soils such as silt, clay, loam or sand. It grows 1 to 4m in height and produces a mass of golden cylindrical flower spikes.

This Acacia is a hardy, drought tolerant plant. It is fast growing and flowering can last until early Summer in cultivation. It requires a sunny aspect and good drainage, though it may not adapt well to areas with humid Summers.

Germination Tips: To increase the germination rate, the seed should be treated first. It can be soaked in hot water or the seed can be nicked or scarred so that water will penetrate the seed's hard coating and induce germination. Use a sandy free draining soil mix and place in a warm area.

Every seed packet is hand counted and is guaranteed to contain at least the number of seeds specified, however human error can occur and please don’t hesitate to contact us if there are any discrepancies.
